Participant’s of MM2H is allowed to start a business under MM2H program but are subject to domestic trade regulation and policy that is in-force. Participant are allowed to hold non-executive position in the company, the company can either 100% foreign owned or jointly with local partners.

You are required to register your business with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) under the Companies Act 1965. You are only eligible to register only limited company in Malaysia. The Companies Act 1965 governs all companies in Malaysia. The Act stipulates that a person must register a company with the SSM in order to engage in any business activity.
